BLOOMING TEXTURES
Blooming Textures explores the fragile space between flower petal, landscape and paint. The collection is informed by the softness and vulnerability of petals, translated through lightweight fabrics and delicate constructions, alongside the rounded, flowing forms found in Helen Frankenthaler’s paintings. Earthy pigments appear diluted and washed, echoing paint soaked into canvas, while moments of gloss and subtle shine catch the light, recalling the natural sheen of petals and wet paint on cloth. The result is a series of tactile accessories that exist in a state of in-between, organic yet abstract, soft yet grounded.
